In light of the month of love, we want to take a moment to appreciate the love we have for women ALL shapes and sizes, ALL ages, and ALL walks of life. With body shaming being such a hot topic in today’s news, let’s take a moment to appreciate the “different” in each of us. Then let's take another moment and appreciate the “different” in the people around us. Our uniqueness may not be understood by many, but as long as it is understood by just one, it is completely conceivable. We, at Shefit, make a point to surround ourselves with people we can be more like and in turn, strive to be the kind of person that others want to be around. If we can unconditionally love ourselves first, our hope is to be contagious and let that self-love spread to everyone we encounter.

Yes, Shefit is a sports bra company. Yes, we would love to sell the product. However, our mission is not to sell. It is to empower. Our mission is to show women of all walks of life that the body, mind, and spirit they were given is perfect and completely unparalleled by any other being on this earth. Our mission and our message span so much deeper than just selling bras.

According to Refinery 29, 67% of American women are a size 14 and up. 67%! That doesn’t sound like an opportunity to body shame, that sounds like a community. It sounds like a group of women that can lean on each other and lift each other up. It sounds like a means by which we can breathe life into one another. Be the life breather. Be the empowerer.
