Shefit will appear on “Shark Tank” on January 29th, 9:00 p.m., ET/PT on ABC. The recipient of the 2014 and 2015 Emmy Award for Outstanding Structured Reality Program, Shark Tank, features ”The Sharks” – tough, self-made, millionaire and billionaire tycoons -- as they invest in America's best businesses and products. Sara Marie, owner and inventor of the Shefit Bra with it's patented adjustable technology, was invited to pitch a business proposition to the “Sharks” for the seventh season of the critically acclaimed reality show. Sara, along with her husband, Bob, appeared in front of Sharks Mark Cuban, Daymond John, Kevin O'Leary, Lori Greiner & Robert Herjavec with the hopes of striking a deal and forming a partnership.

Sara can’t reveal the outcome of her experience, for this month’s broadcast, but says the pitch session was priceless. “We can't talk about how we did on the show, or if we gained a new business partner or not... we're not going to spoil the surprises for the audience,” Sara explains. “People will just have to tune in and watch the episode for themselves.”

Each year tens of thousands of businesses apply to be on the show – this year over 45,000 entrepreneurs applied. The Shefit Sports Bra made the cut and will be presented to The Sharks, with Sara and Bob highlighting the patented technology, which is focused on adjustability and comfort.

The whole Shark Tank process is so much longer than what gets shown on TV,” said Sara Marie, owner of Shefit Inc. and inventor of Shefit high impact sports bra. “From the application and interviews, to the planning calls with the production team, to the actual time in The Tank - all that gets boiled down to the final edited version of just 5 - 10 minutes. The process is overwhelming, and exhausting, but it was all very, very exciting.”

I love the bra and also LOVE your heeled gym shoes. Sorry it’s not available for awhile but I’m happy for your success with Shark Tank. Where did you get the shoes? Also, how tall are you? I’m 5’1’ and sometimes I think being short it’s hard to get such a great looking body but you’ve seemed to do it! Thanks for being inspiring.

    Hello Sara Marie!
I am a huge fan of the show Shark Tank. I was very impressed with your presentation and energy, but even more impressed with your product. I myself having been blessed with a perfect size 34 B have never had a problem finding a support or sport bra. My daughter who is a 36 DD has always had difficulty in finding one that fits properly and is comfortable to wear during her workouts. When she was younger, we both enjoyed riding our horses together but as she developed it became more and more uncomfortable for her. All threw her high school years she found it difficult to participate in sports due to not having a proper support bra, but she loved to swim and became a professional performer as a mermaid at a local attraction in our town of Weeki Wachee FL. She again, had a difficult time fitting into the costume tops. She is no longer a mermaid there but her and I both love to swim. I am 55 and she is now 29 and we both find it difficult to wear bathing suits that tie behind the neck (halter style). When I saw your innovative sports bra, I began thinking that same technology needs to be used to create a bathing suit! I think the adjustability feature would be wonderful! Please let me know if this is something you would consider designing. I would be glad to have your input or any ideas you may have in this matter.
    Thank you!

I just had a double mastectomy with reconstruction. This looks absolutely perfect. Doctors want me to have a sports bra that zips in front, compression, and padding!! It is hard to find a sports bra with a zipper in front. The post op ones are ugly, too many seams and not as adjustable to help adjust with swelling and healing.
