Meet Nour Guiga. You may have seen her before, but now it's time to get to know her. Get an inside look at the life of SHEFIT Ambassador Nour Guiga:

What do you do for work?

I'm a model (for over 10 years so far), Instagram content creator and video game streamer on Twitch.

Where did you grow up, and what was it like growing up there?

I was born in Tunisia (North Africa) and grew up in a small beach town called Hammamet. I loved growing up in Tunisia! Things are quite different there. Raising a family of five is a lot more affordable than in Western countries. As a result, I was very fortunate to grow up in a big house with a garden, have a dog and cats. In the summer, I would walk to the beach with my mother and sisters and play for hours. Those were some pretty awesome memories. I'm forever grateful to my parents for allowing me to have the childhood I did.

And what did you like doing most as a kid? Was sport or exercise important to you then?

What I loved most was, undoubtedly, eating. All about the post-workout meal! On a more serious note, my road to finding a physical activity I enjoy was long and winding. At the age of 12, I took swimming lessons, but then the public swimming pool closed, so I decided to give tennis a try. It was the sport I disliked the most - probably because I wasn't very good at it. After multiple attempts at other sports (handball, soccer, gymnastics, volleyball, windsurfing, basketball, and judo), I finally discovered a passion for modern-jazz dance and boxing!

If you were to give your personality a type, what would it be?

I'm the type of person who will try to find beauty in the little things and not give too much importance to material things, and my motto is to always keep your inner child alive! We all grow up, and that's part of life, but it's important to retain some of that fun and carefree side.

If possible, tell us about an event in your life that helped shape who you are today.

When I started modeling, I was often asked to lose weight, especially around my hips. It became an obsession. In 2016, after months of struggling with my body shape, I decided to rely on what I considered to be my last recourse: liposuction. My modeling agency at the time applauded this decision. After the procedure, I finally met the standards of a straight-size model. A few months later, I had an accident and broke my foot. That completely changed my life and the direction I was heading in with my modeling. I was to convalesce indoors for two months, and, not surprisingly, I gained three kilos (~6 lbs). More importantly, the experience forced me to take a look at what I put myself through to fit into an industry standard. It allowed me to ask myself the right questions regarding my body, future, and how I want to lead my life. My agencies offered me a chance to work hard to lose the extra weight again. I refused, so they ended our contract. After taking a break from the industry, I moved to the US in 2018 and decided to give modeling another go, but this time on my own terms as an in-between model (US 8-10 dress size). I was now facing a new challenge: not being big enough to be fit into the more sought after plus-size or curvy division. So, I decided to turn to social media and express my frustration and beliefs to women who feel unrepresented and constrained by the modeling and fashion

industry's body & beauty standards.

What are you currently working for/striving towards?

- Build a community of awesome video game lovers by growing my Twitch channel

- Take my career as a content creator to the next level and into film & TV

- Help other women feel like they're enough when faced with body & beauty standards

How does wearing SHEFIT make you feel?

Batman wears a cape, Black Widow has a bodysuit, and Lara Croft wears booty shorts. One of the things that puts me in the mood is to look the part, especially when I don't feel like working out. Shefit makes me feel fierce. I look at myself in the mirror, and I honestly feel badass. My bra looks like it was designed in a lab (maybe because of the cool velcro straps), and leggings make my butt look Avenger material! All this motivates me to start moving and also to go show off my curves at the gym.

What do you like most about SHEFIT as a brand?

A few things: the quality of their products (the materials used in the bras look and feel very high quality), the feeling of being celebrated in their ads, and their professionalism. Another aspect that I appreciate is that the brand inspires respect because they sell a product that helps women, and they hire models of different sizes, shapes, and colors.

What does Sisterhood mean to you?

I have two sisters, and even if we sometimes fight and don't understand each other, being sisters means that whatever happens, we're here for each other and we support each other.

What does body positivity mean to you?

Celebrating different bodies and people's goals to become healthier and happier in their body for themselves. It's a mindset and attitude to get to a place where you feel comfortable in your own skin and confident enough to wear what you want.

What's your favorite type of exercise, and how often do you do it?

Today, I enjoy low impact workouts as well as yoga and swimming.

Why do you love it? What got you hooked on it?

Each time I workout, swim, or practice yoga, I feel this almost instant sense of accomplishment and pride because I pushed myself, and I am taking care of both my body and mental health.

What's your favorite music to work out to?

I like pop music for most workouts. When I practice yoga, I prefer just listening to the instructor and focusing on my breathing.

Do you prefer to workout in a group or on your own?

I like to have a workout buddy! I tend to get distracted when I workout alone - mainly by my phone's notifications! When it comes to yoga, I enjoy practicing it with a group whenever I can.

What's your favorite thing about the SHEFIT bra, and why?

The Zip. Cinch. Lift.™ technology is a game-changer, especially for women with big breasts. But my favorite thing about the SHEFIT bra is the design - it looks and feels like time and effort were meticulously put into it. I'm more a Flex girl than an Ultimate girl and love how sleek, and tidy the Flex bra looks from the front and colorful and unique on the back.

Would you recommend a SHEFIT bra to your friends?/ what would you say to anyone looking for a new sports bra?

I would and already do! Anyone who has boobs and lets me know they're looking for a sports bra or can't find a good one has probably heard me tell them about SHEFIT. I let them know their suffering is over, and their days of poor support, tight and/or nipple revealing sports bras is over. Plus, it's as easy as 1-2-3 to buy them online: visit shefit.com, pick a color, pick a size, and boom you're welcome!

What do you look for in the perfect legging?

The perfect legging should lift your butt, keep everything together, not compromise comfort or range movement, and use a breathable fabric. Also, it should never slip or roll down on the stomach when you walk, run, or exercise. Finally, and this is a detail that is always very appreciated by tall girls: it's long enough to cover our ankles.
